British criminal and civil justice sector

Interpreting in Magistrates’, Crown and County Courts, for Crown Prosecution Service, Probation Service, HM Prison Service as well as private law firms, during court hearings and conferences between solicitors and their clients.

Translating statements, affidavits, court judgments and orders in civil and family cases.

Medico-legal work: interpreting for victims in personal injury cases, during doctors’ appointments and meetings with solicitors. Translation of medical reports in personal injury claims and child abuse cases.

Police

Interpreting work includes business meetings, disputes with staff, disciplinary hearings and training for Polish employees of various local companies (health and safety, safeguarding, chemical safety, food safety, etc.). Translation work includes certificates, contracts and agreements, articles for publication, brochures, training materials (presentations, exam papers, safe work practice sheets), leaflets and correspondence. I also provide certified translation of documents (birth/marriage/death certificates, medical certificates, divorce decrees etc.)
